Sometimes its nice to stick close to home. For me that’s around the Central New Mexico area. I am always amazed at how many gorgeous, diverse places I end up exploring, even just within an hour of my home. New Mexico is truly beautiful, with nooks and crannies holding canyons, petroglyphs, wildflowers and spectacular views.
So for this month’s Travel 30 post, I traveled locally to bring you some of my favorite Central New Mexico spots. What follows is a bit of a photo-safari of places that you are liable to find me at least once a month – hiking, practicing yoga (click here for a desert video practice with me), relaxing and sharing time with friends and pups!
Quebradas Back Country Bi-Way
San Lorenzo Canyon
Socorro Nature Area
I hope you enjoyed this virtual tour of some of my favorite places! What are your local favorites?
